Marsha Massih

Marsha Massih is an award-winning oil painter, widely exhibiting her paintings throughout the East Coast and abroad for over 25 years.  Exhibitions include Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists, Allied Artists of America, National Arts Club of New York, National Association of Women Artists, Hudson Valley Artist Association, Audobon Artists, CWA, Lace Mill Gallery, Gruber Gallery, and Slater Museum. In 2023 Marsha won the top oil painting prize at the prestigious 127th Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club in New York.

 

In 2023 HULU purchased a one of Marsha’s paintings for their popular hit show ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING, and it hung in Meryl Streep’s apartment in Season 3 and was acquired by the art director.

 

Marsha’s artwork and biography have been featured in several publications, including Fine Art Connoisseur, Georgetown Magazine, Chronogram, Wallkill Valley Times, New Paltz Times, Hudson Valley One, Kingston Times, Gardiner Gazette, and Lines from the League, an Art Students League of New York publication.  In April 2025 she was interviewed by Radio Woodstock to talk about her background and her association with the Gardiner Artists Open Studio Tour (GOST).

 

She is a founding member of GOST.  Marsha’s paintings are included in numerous private collections throughout the U.S. and internationally.  She teaches private art lessons from her Gardiner studio
